FAQ's

Ideally the programme should be taught over multiple consecutive lessons allowing time for participants to immerse themselves in the learnings. It is recommended to allow at least 45 minutes for the Bronze Module; two-three hours for the Silver Module and at least half a day (three-four hours) or preferably longer to undertake the Gold Module. We recommend the programme is best taught over a week or term depending on lesson plans and teacher schedule.

The programme covers conservation, sustainability, biology, physics, electronics, the scientific method and problem solving. Its versatility allows it to meet the needs of most teaching requirements.

The programme has been designed to work best with A-NZ school Years 9-11 (12 – 15yr olds), but has also been carried out with older students in Years 12 – 13 (16 – 17yr olds).

The programme is designed to work with all levels of technical skills and experience. Knowledge of, or skills with, soldering is a basic requirement.

Support is provided through a comprehensive teacher guide, and one-on-one guidance prior to your and your students starting the programme. If needed, in-person facilitation can also be provided to help with the initial roll out.
